Anna Delvey Allowed to Return to Social Media After Court Ruling

Anna Delvey, also known as the “fake heiress,” has recently been granted permission by a judge to return to social media. This news comes as a relief to Delvey, who expressed her gratitude for being able to “control [her] own narrative again” following the ruling. Delvey gained notoriety in 2019 when she was jailed for impersonating an aristocrat in order to defraud multiple businesses of approximately $200,000.

Upon her release from prison, Delvey found herself under house arrest by immigration courts while awaiting a decision regarding her status in the United States. She was also required to wear an ankle monitor and was prohibited from posting on social media platforms under the judge’s order. Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, challenged these restrictions in court, arguing that they violated her constitutional rights and did not serve to mitigate any potential flight risk or threat to the community.

Following the court’s decision to allow her back online, Delvey now has the opportunity to rehabilitate her image and explore potential business ventures. Known for her unique sense of style, Delvey has been making waves in the fashion industry. She co-founded the OutLaw Agency with fashion icon Kelly Cutrone, organized a Fashion Week show for designer Shao Yang, and even used one of her court appearances to showcase Yang’s work by wearing a custom outfit.

In response to the court’s ruling, Delvey expressed her appreciation for the United States government court system and her legal team, John Sandweg and Catherine Hunstad, for advocating for her First Amendment rights. With her newfound freedom to engage with her audience online and pursue business opportunities, Delvey is poised to make a comeback in the world of fashion and beyond.
