Carrie Bradshaw Stuns in Iconic Chanel Design for “And Just Like That” Season 3

Sarah Jessica Parker, 59, surprised fans as she was spotted on set of “And Just Like That” in NYC, filming a scene for the show’s third season donning a familiar top. The Chanel design, distinguished by abstract splashes of color, heart graphics, and the brand’s iconic double-C logo, made its first appearance on the “Sex and the City” episode titled “Hot Child in the City” back in 2000. The beloved character, Carrie Bradshaw, had previously embraced the Y2K style by pairing the sheer, long-sleeved blouse with tie-dye capri pants, a turquoise bandana, floral embellished heels, and a purple purse. Fast forward to 2024, costume designers opted for a more sophisticated approach for the character’s fashion choices.

Carrie’s Modern Makeover

In the recent scene on set, Parker was seen effortlessly carrying the breezy Chanel design with a coordinating purple maxi skirt and yellow strappy heels. She kept her long blond curls in a classic half-up, half-down ‘do, forgoing any extravagant hair accessories. Season 3 of the HBO Max series promises to be just as daring and fashion-forward as its predecessors. Apart from revisiting iconic outfits from the past, Sarah Jessica Parker has showcased her character in a plethora of jaw-dropping ensembles, including a sheer Simone Rocha coat and corset dress adorned with long-stem roses. While some fans were taken aback by the provocative look, there is no shortage of eccentric outfits in store for Carrie Bradshaw.

Throwback Fashion Extravaganza

Earlier in May, Parker took to Instagram to reveal her outfit from “Day 6” of filming, which featured an oversized, gingham bonnet paired with a poufy multi-colored dress. Commenters were quick to describe the accessory as “unhinged” and drew comparisons to popular cartoon and fairytale characters. However, the ensemble hinted at a recurring theme of throwback fashion throughout the season. The actress also incorporated Dr. Scholl’s slides ($120) into her look, reminiscent of a style she had worn on the original series. Fans of the show are eagerly anticipating more nostalgic outfits and bold choices from Carrie Bradshaw, proving that old school fashion never goes out of style.
