This year, Althorp House will close a few days earlier than usual, on the 29th of August. However, visitors will have the opportunity to view a special exhibition that has never been seen before. Earl Spencer announced the new exhibit on social media, expressing his gratitude for the generosity and craftsmanship behind the stunning collection.
Althorp House, a Grade I listed stately home, is located in Northamptonshire and has been the primary residence of the Spencer family for centuries. The expansive estate spans over 13,000 acres, with the house and gardens covering 550 acres. Following the death of his father, John Spencer, in 1992, Charles Spencer took over the property and has since maintained its rich history and heritage.
In 2011, Earl Spencer married Countess (Karen) Spencer, his third wife, after being introduced to each other on a blind date in Los Angeles. The couple shares a daughter, Charlotte Diana, who was born in 2012. Earlier this year, Earl Spencer announced their divorce, marking a significant change in his personal life.
