The Queen of Denmark’s Unfortunate Encounter

Queen Mary of Denmark was left visibly shaken during a public engagement in Greenland when she was hit by a motorised scooter. The incident, which occurred on Thursday 30 June, was captured on video and shared by Danish publication Ekstra Bladet. In the video, an elderly man on a scooter almost knocked Queen Mary to the ground as she was greeting the crowds in Nuuk. Onlookers reacted with an audible gasp as Mary cried out in shock. Following their time in Greenland, King Frederik and Queen Mary have settled into Gråsten Palace for their traditional summer break.
